Lucian Shin(b.1992) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Gwangju, South Korea. Shin’s artistic practice lies at the intersection of biology, computer science and art. Exploring the question of “What is life, not life as it is, but life as it could be?”, in the recent project Shin transplanted a worm’s brain to computer by replicating its neural network and transformed the organic life to a silicone based robot.
